In the first hour, hosts Heather Karrow and Dr. Chris Burgwald began by visiting with Fr. Paul Rutten of the Diocese of Sioux Falls about taking away the fear of the annulment process and knowing when to approach someone about it. Fr. Tim Smith then joined our hosts for our "Straight Talk" call in segment. Listeners asked questions on topics including: how you love your neighbor while standing up for the Church's teachings on morality, if the cost keeps people from seeking annulments, and if a Catholic should read books written by a Buddhist monk.

Our hosts then took us on a 10-Minute Tour of local events. They also visited with Fr. Kristopher Cowles of the Diocese of Sioux Falls about what the Church actually teaches on homosexuality. Finally, Brad and Jeanine spoke with Stephanie Trautman about the beautiful experience of how, as an expectant mother in a new town, she was drawn closer to our Heavenly Mother.

Listeners asked questions on topics including: if kids identifying as transgender should have separate bathrooms and showers at schools and how it's possible for us to address God as "Father."

Mike Kiedrowski, Real Presence Radio Listener Relationships Coordinator, talked about year-end giving and how it can be a way to charitably give and save taxes. Finally, our host spoke with Brian Kusek of the Diocese of Winona-Rochester about diving into Advent activities that will help direct our hearts as we prepare for the actual season of Christmas.
