In the second hour, host Michael Wilde spoke with Fr. Mark Mallak, Senior Associate for the Holy Family Area Faith Community in the Diocese of New Ulm, about the trials and opportunities he has experienced as a priest and how he feels his priesthood has grown as a result. Michael then began our Fall Festival Tour as he spoke with Kathy and Jim Heisler about the 70th annual Fall Dinner at St. Hildegard Church in Menoken, ND. Finally, our host visited with Michael McMahon, Vice President for Enrollment Management at the University of Mary, about virtuous leadership in athletics as we approach the start of the fall sports season.
RPL Hr. 1 August 22 Virginia Mardikian, Nic Davidson, and Fr. Chuck Huck
In the first hour, host Michael Wilde began by speaking with Virginia Mardikian, guidance counselor at Bishop Ryan Catholic School in Minot, about helping your school-aged children develop good study habits. Michael then spoke with Nic Davidson, a speaker at the Diocese of Superior's Respect Life event "God's Gift--To Love Every Body", about the upcoming event. Finally, Michael visited with the Diocese of Crookston's Fr. Chuck Huck about the ABC (All-American Burgers and Brats Conversation and Chatter) events he hosted at his parish, St. Philip's Church in Bemidji, and how they provided a great opportunity to connect with parishioners.
RPL Hr. 2 August 17 Fr. Craig Vasek, Todd Johnson, and Fr. Kurtis Gunwall
In the second hour, host Tim Mosser talked with Fr. Craig Vasek, pastor at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Hallock, MN, and Todd Johnson, Call Committee Member and lay preacher at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hallock, about breaking down the walls of division between Catholics and Protestants. To end the show, Fr. Kurtis Gunwall, Director of Vocations for the Diocese of Fargo, talked about vocations in the Diocese and where we find the priesthood in the Bible.

In the first hour, host Tim Mosser visited with Elysia Libbrecht, a school counselor at Trinity Elementary School in West Fargo, about some of the fears and apprehensions kids may have about the upcoming school year. Tim then talked to Deacon Mike McKeown, Director of the Office of Healing Ministry in the Diocese of New Ulm, about Unbound Ministry. Tim also chatted with Andy Shaw, Boys Golf Head Coach at St. Thomas More High School in Rapid City, about the upcoming season.
RPL Hr. 2 August 10 Sister Jean Louise Schafer and Craig Dyke
In the second hour, host Fr. James Gross joined Sister Jean Louise Schafer from the Franciscan Sisters of Dillingen in Hankinson, ND to talk about her vocation and to fill in the blanks about what it is like to be a religious sister. To wrap up the show, Craig Dyke, the new Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Rapid City, shared with us his role, his vision, and his hopes for the youth and young adults in the diocese.
