In the second hour, Krista Fremming joined hosts Andy Shaw and Fr. Michel Mulloy to share her emotional journey of having an abortion, living with that pain, and finally finding peace and forgiveness. Andy and Fr. Mulloy then spoke with the Diocese of Fargo's Fr. Tim Schroeder about a commitment his parish has made to building a school for the children and teachers at a sister parish in Haiti. Finally, our hosts visited with Joni Osnes about the upcoming Fall Festival at Our Lady of the Black Hills Church in Piedmont, SD.
RPL Hr. 1 Oct. 26 Jodi Altonen, Fr. Michel Mulloy, and Dr. David Anders
In the first hour, hosts Andy Shaw and Fr. Michel Mulloy began by talking with Jodi Altonen, 1st Grade teacher at Stella Maris Academy in Duluth, about the fun way her classes honor the saints in celebration of All Saints' Day. Fr. Mulloy then talked about the need to be conscious of the spiritual battles that are all around us, especially on Halloween. Finally, our hosts visited with Dr. David Anders, host of EWTN's Called to Communion and keynote speaker at the upcoming RPR Rapid City Fundraising Banquet, about why people leave the Church and what keeps them from coming back.
RPL Hr. 2 Oct. 24 Jason Adkins, Troy Mattern, and Fr. Patrick McConnell
In the second hour, host Tim Mosser spoke with the Minnesota Catholic Conference's Jason Adkins about the cultural crises we face and how to bring God back into the discussion. Jason also gave us an update on the Minnesota legislature. Our host then spoke with Troy Mattern, head football coach at Shanley High School in Fargo, about the importance of building virtue on and off the field and the Deacons' season as the team heads into the playoffs. Finally, the Diocese of Superior's Fr. Patrick McConnell previewed the upcoming Sunday Gospel reading from Matthew, where Jesus talks about the two greatest commandments.
RPL Hr. 1 Oct. 24 Cameron Wolf, Msgr. Thomas Richter, Linda Thorson, and Fr. Charles LaCroix
In the first hour, host Tim Mosser began by talking with Cameron Wolf, Regional Manager for Catholic United Financial in Northwest Minnesota and North Dakota, about the value of having a personal financial portfolio. Tim then visited with the Bismarck Diocese's Msgr. Thomas Richter about fulfilling Jesus' call to discipleship in our lives. Finally, Linda Thorson, Concerned Women for America -- North Dakota State Director, and Fr. Charles LaCroix joined our host to talk about why abortion affects us all. They also promoted the 100 No More Prayer Rally and Cupcakes for Life, two upcoming pro-life events featuring Dr. Alveda King.

In the second hour, Fr. James Gross joined Bill White to talk about the opening of the cause for sainthood of Lakota catechist Nicholas Black Elk in the Diocese of Rapid City. Fr. Gross then visited with Fr. Kyle Metzger about the upcoming FUN Fest, to help support St. Michael's Church and School in Grand Forks, ND. The Diocese of Superior's Fr. Samuel Schneider also previewed the upcoming Sunday Gospel reading.
