In the first hour, hosts Brad Gray and Jeanine Bitzan began by visiting with Mark Johnson, a golf professional at the Fargo Country Club, about some tips for getting your swing and other elements of your game into great shape for the season. Our hosts were then joined by the Diocese of Fargo's Msgr. Gregory Schlesselmann for our monthly "Into the Deep" Call-In/Facebook Live segment. Monsignor answered questions on a variety of topics including: why we fast an hour before receiving the Eucharist, how we offer up our sufferings to God, if babies of miscarriages are in Heaven, and if it's a moral obligation to tip waiters and waitresses.
In the second hour, host Fr. James Gross began by visiting with the Diocese of Fargo's Fr. Robert Keller about getting our gardens, fields, and crops blessed. Fr. Gross then joined Deacon Kyle Eller of the Diocese of Duluth to talk about what a deacon is and what brought him to this special ministry. Finally, our host spoke with Tim Henderson, Director of Development for the Diocese of Rapid City, about an opportunity to do some fishing with the Bishop and help support seminarians in the process.

James Gross began by visiting with Dr. Mark List of Avera Health in Sioux Falls about the importance of keeping kids active during the summer months and how you can make sure they stay protected from diseases carried by ticks and mosquitoes. Fr. Gross then spoke with Kevin Boehm, State Advocate and Membership Director for the North Dakota Knights of Columbus, about how the Knights help support our local communities. Finally, our host joined the Diocese of New Ulm's Fr. Jeremy Kucera to talk about Pentecost, what it means, and why it should matter to us as Catholics.
In the second hour, hosts Heather Karrow and Dr. Chris Burgwald joined the Diocese of Bismarck's Fr. Terry Wipf to hear about his conversion to the Catholic faith and journey to the priesthood. Our hosts then visited with Jan Feterl of the Catholic Community Foundation for Eastern South Dakota about an exciting opportunity to do some fishing and help support seminarians in the Diocese of Sioux Falls at the same time.

Heather and Dr. Burgwald then joined Leo Grossman to talk about how the Knights of Columbus in Harvey, ND are helping ease the pain of couples suffering the loss of a child through miscarriage. Finally, our hosts spoke with Glen Gauer about a new movement he and his wife started to help ignite the faith of parish families and to provide pastors opportunities to have workshops and retreats at a local level.
