In the second hour, hosts Heather Karrow and Dr. Chris Burgwald joined Nadia Smetana of Dakota Hope Clinic in Minot to talk about an opportunity to help teach young people about the value of saving sexual activity until marriage. In the first hour, hosts Heather Karrow and Dr. Chris Burgwald began by visiting with Jan Feterl of the Catholic Community Foundation of Eastern South Dakota about this year's Gift of Hope concert event. It was then time for your questions during our Straight Talk segment with Fr. Tim Smith. Topics included: why in Exodus does God harden Pharaoh's heart and if you can pray for a good friend who committed suicide.

RPL Hr. 2 March 5 Bishop Robert Gruss, 10-Minute Tour, Sonja Corbitt, Trish Laskey

In the second hour, hosts Fr. Richard Kunst and Fr. Ryan Moravitz sat down with the Diocese of Rapid City's Bishop Robert Gruss to talk about Servant of God Nicholas Black Elk and how he could be one of the next Native American saints to be canonized within the Church. It was then time for our 10-Minute Tour of local events. Sonja Corbitt talked about how fear can keep us from growing in our relationship with Jesus and her upcoming visit as keynote speaker at the Duluth Women's Conference. Finally, Trish Laskey talked about if we as lay people do enough to support our parishes.

In the first hour, hosts Fr. Richard Kunst and Fr. Ryan Moravitz began by visiting with the Diocese of Duluth's Bishop Paul Sirba about his biggest takeaways from the Catholics at the Capitol event a couple weeks ago and how attendees can use the knowledge and tools they received. It was then time for your questions during our Straight Talk segment. This time, listeners asked questions on topics including: what it means when it says in the Catechism that "the Word became man so that man can become God," if Sundays can be considered days of fasting, if it's more worthwhile to give up chocolate or a bad habit for Lent, what our hosts think about the Exodus 90 program, and how a person can ask for an accountability partner to journey with through Lent.

RPL Hr. 2 February 28 Angie Black, Gretchen Landherr & Betsy Kneepkens

In the second hour, host Fr. Michel Mulloy joined Angie Black to talk about a great option for families to develop like-minded Catholic friendships called a Catholic Families Group. Gretchen Landherr and Betsy Kneepkens of the Diocese of Duluth then told us about this year's Women's Conference and how it will be an opportunity for women to take on their fears so they can draw closer to Jesus.
