RPL Hr. 1 September 11 Jay Beutler, Shelly DeMers, and Nette Rodin

In the first hour, hosts Brad Gray and Jeanine Bitzan began by paying tribute to the victims, heroes, and families of all involved in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. They sat down with Jay Beutler to hear his firsthand account of what it was like to be in New York City that fateful day. Our hosts then visited with Shelly DeMers and Nette Rodin, to hear about Nette's personal journey of having an abortion and how she found peace and healing.

RPL Hr. 2 September 6 Bishop Robert Gruss, Isaiah Schick, and Roberta Nagel

In the second hour, host Fr. Jason Lefor joined the Diocese of Rapid City's Bishop Robert Gruss to talk about what it means to be wounded and how we can find healing from the wounds that plague us. Fr. Lefor then spoke with the Diocese of Superior's newest seminarian, Isaiah Schick, about why he felt called to pursue the priesthood. Finally, our host continued our Fall Festival Tour as he visited with Roberta Nagel about the upcoming fall event at St. Anthony in Linton, ND.

In the first hour, host Fr. Jason Lefor began by visiting with Maggie Price about how we can reach out to youth and families of youth with special needs and help them grow as members of the Body of Christ. Fr. Lefor then joined Steve and Glynis Sturm to talk about Teams of Our Lady and why several married couples are part of this unique organization. Finally, our host had the pleasure of visiting with Archbishop Albert LeGatt of the Archdiocese of Saint Boniface in Manitoba about the beautiful history behind Assumption Church in Pembina, ND, as parishioners celebrate its 200th anniversary.

In the second hour, hosts Michael Wilde and Fr. Will Thompson joined Deacon Tom Geffre to talk about how you can be part of this year's National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children. Our hosts were then joined in-studio by Becky Pries and Margaret Nelson to talk about their parish Fall Festivals in Byron and Kasson, MN. Finally, Michael and Fr. Will visited with the Diocese of Crookston's Fr. Matt Schmitz about the 125th anniversary of Sacred Heart Parish in East Grand Forks, MN.

Our hosts then joined James Carrell to talk about what back-to-school looks like for a seminarian. Finally, our hosts spoke with Joyce Lehman from Pax Christi Church in Rochester, MN about why parishes are in need of volunteers to help keep them active and full of enthusiasm.
