RPL Hr. 2 Nov. 21 Bishop Michael Hoeppner, Jeff Meyer, and Fr. Brian Gross

In the second hour, host Fr. Brian Gross joined the Diocese of Crookston's Bishop Michael Hoeppner to discuss what it means to have a grateful heart. Fr. Gross then visited with Jeff Meyer about the city-wide meal in Rapid City that members of the Knights of Columbus serve for anyone who needs a place to eat on Thanksgiving Day. Finally, our host previewed the upcoming Sunday Gospel reading.

In the first hour, host Fr. Brian Gross visited with Julie Zikmund, a dietitian, about eating in moderation at Thanksgiving. Fr. Gross then spoke with the Diocese of Superior's Fr. Samuel Schneider about a great YouTube video he made about what a day in the life of a priest is like. Finally, during the monthly University of Mary segment, our host was joined by Michael McMahon, Vice President for Enrollment Management, to talk about their new Catholic Philanthropy Partnership with the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS).

In the second hour, host Michael Wilde visited with Patti Spry about some of the great things happening at St. Mary's Mission on the Red Lake Indian Reservation in Minnesota. Fr. Timothy Castor of the Diocese of Rapid City shared what brought him to the Catholic faith. And our host talked with Gretchen Landherr about the Diocese of Duluth's annual Women of Faith Conference.

In the first hour, host Michael Wilde visited with Marlo Nelson of the Country Kitchen in Dickinson about preparing a delicious meal for Thanksgiving. Michael then spoke with Sonja Ellner of the Dorothy Day House in Moorhead about how we can help those in need, especially during the holidays. Finally, our host joined Nancy Ellenson to talk about the Mass of Remembrance and Light at her parish in Warroad, MN for all those who have experienced the loss of a child.

In the second hour, hosts Brad Gray and Jeanine Bitzan began by speaking with the Diocese of Duluth's Fr. Joel Hastings about the Ordinary and Extraordinary forms of the Mass and their differences. In our Made for Greatness Men's Segment, Tom O'Keefe shared how experiencing the death of his brother and being connected with a men's group at his parish helped bring him back to the faith. Finally, our hosts visited with Pat Engelhardt, Deputy Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council #2760 at St. Joseph Parish in Mandan, about the upcoming 3rd annual KC Festival.
